Description

A small vise that turns. Lock the base, clamp the part, then rotate the whole thing to bring the next face toward you instead of unclamping and starting again.

Where it helps

Anything you have to work around rather than straight down onto. Soldering a joint on two sides, filing a bezel, inspecting a part under a loupe from three angles. You set the grip once and the part stops being something you fumble with.

Where it stops

The rotation is for positioning between operations, not for holding against a side load. Do not use the swivel to fight a cutter. And like any clamp-style vise, it belongs beside the machine rather than under the bit - for drilling, use a vise that bolts to the base.
